There are many times in our lives when we might say "maybe one day...". "Maybe one day I'll be rich". "Maybe one day I'll own a house". "Maybe one day I'll find love". "Maybe one day we'll live in a peaceful world". As dire as things may seem sometimes (or most of the time), we cannot lose hope that maybe one day things will be better.
I want to incorporate more Filipino culture into my paintings (that's also why I've been painting myself - representing my culture in art since I grew up without seeing it). So the printed fabric is the fabric pattern of the igorots - the native people of the Benguet region in the Philippines, where Baguio City is.
