Panagbenga is the month-long, annual flower festival in Baguio City, Philippines. I got to experience it for the first time this year! I used photos I took of the flower stalls and took inspiration from the designs and patterns of the area (sun rays and arrows). The whole city was decorated with flowers and bright colours and I wanted to create a piece that celebrates where my family comes from and its people.
